Who I Am & How I Work

Epic Story Travels is a travel advisory service operated by Colorado Story, LLC, solely owned by Natalia Story.

I am an independent travel advisor affiliated with Fora Travel, Inc., a registered Seller of Travel. This means I plan and book travel on your behalf through trusted partners, while operating under Fora’s licensing, systems, and supplier relationships.

While I curate and coordinate your travel experience, your bookings are ultimately fulfilled by third-party travel suppliers (hotels, airlines, tour operators, etc.).

Independent Contractor Status

Epic Story Travels is an independent business. I am not an employee of the hotels, airlines, or travel providers I recommend.

I work with a network of preferred partners, but all travel services are provided by those third parties — not by Epic Story Travels directly.

Commissions & Compensation

In many cases, I earn commissions from hotels, travel providers, and other partners when you book through me.

This does not increase your cost in most cases.
In some instances, I may also receive perks such as upgrades or hosted experiences.

If I charge a planning or design fee, it will always be disclosed upfront.

Planning & Service Fees

For more customized or complex itineraries, Epic Story Travels may charge a non-refundable planning fee. This fee covers:

Research and curation
Itinerary design and refinement
Supplier coordination and booking logistics
Ongoing support before and during your trip

Payment of a planning fee indicates agreement to move forward with services.

Role as Agent

Epic Story Travels acts solely as an agent for travel suppliers. That means:

I do not own or operate hotels, airlines, or other providers
I do not control their operations, pricing, availability, or policies

All reservations are subject to the terms and conditions of the individual supplier.

Limitation of Liability

Epic Story Travels is not liable for:

Errors, omissions, or changes made by travel suppliers
Pricing changes, cancellations, or schedule changes
Service failures (e.g., overbookings, maintenance issues, staffing issues)
Airline delays, missed connections, or baggage issues

Additionally, I am not responsible for supplier insolvency, bankruptcy, or default.

Events Beyond My Control

Travel inherently involves variables outside anyone’s control. Epic Story Travels is not liable for disruptions caused by:

Weather or natural disasters
Government actions or travel restrictions
Strikes or labor disputes
Public health events
Acts of terrorism or civil unrest

Clients assume responsibility for understanding and accepting these risks.

Travel Risks & Health

I do not have special knowledge regarding:

Destination-specific risks
Health or safety conditions
Supplier safety records

In order to plan and book your travel, your information may be shared with relevant third-party travel providers (such as hotels, airlines, and tour operators) and with Fora Travel, Inc. as the booking agency.

By using this site or engaging Epic Story Travels for services, you acknowledge and agree to these policies and disclosures.
